Terms of use

These terms govern use of Online Contracts, an electronic signature service operated at online-contracts.com. By creating a workspace you agree to them.

The service

Online Contracts lets account holders prepare agreements, invite recipients to sign or approve, and keep an audit record of those events. Document sending tools continue to land in later releases; the Free plan already includes unlimited documents.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the name and email on the workspace, for keeping the password private, and for activity that occurs while you are signed in. Confirm the email address before using the desk for live agreements.

Documents and signatures

You must have the right to upload each file and to collect signatures from the people you invite. Recipients act under the access token issued to them. A completed document, its SHA-256 hash, and the audit log are the record of what occurred on this service.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to send malware, to impersonate another person, or to collect signatures under false pretences. We may suspend an account that abuses the platform.

Plans

New workspaces start on the Free plan with unlimited documents. Paid tiers are not billed today. If billing is enabled later, existing Free workspaces keep unlimited documents until a published change says otherwise.
